Edexcel Chemistry IGCSE (4CH1)
The Edexcel International GCSE (IGCSE) Chemistry syllabus aims to develop students' understanding of essential chemistry principles, such as atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical reactions, and more. The course is designed to be comparable to the UK reformed GCSEs in terms of the level of demand and assessment standards. The syllabus supports progression to further study and includes both theoretical and practical components to ensure a comprehensive understanding of chemistry. The qualification is untiered, so all students sit the same two papers.
